The Pakistan Conflict Monitor is an initiative of the Human Security Report Project at the School for International Studies at Simon Fraser University.
The Monitor highlights new research and analysis on the conflict in Pakistan. In addition to the conflict itself, the Monitor focuses on a broad set of related issue-areas, including health, development, displacement, governance, gender, small arms, landmines, human rights and transitional justice.
The Monitor provides summaries of academic articles and reports, and links to key documents, publications, organizations, and data.
In addition to keeping up to date on the news via their web-browser, users of the Monitor can also sign up to receive the latest posts via email or RSS feeds.
In producing these services, Human Security Report Project staff systematically monitor over 1,500 websites, as well as dozens of e-mailing lists and academic journals.
The Pakistan Conflict Monitor is supported by the Human Security Gateway, the Human Security Report Project's online database of human security-related resources.
